Arrived at the site. Allhallows Haven and was instantly disappointed, it in the middle of no where. We arrived at 2 and wasnt allowed into van til 4 so we thought we would go shopping, the nearest supermarket is 30mins away. There was a shop onsite but not great selection. When we got into van, the shower head was held together with tape, the wall paper was ripped and carpet was filthy...cigarette burns and unidentifiable stuff. It was cold so we thought we would lift the gas fire...it didnt work so we contacted reception they laughed and was dismissive, they said they would send someone up, we waited for 1.5hrs and no one came so gave up waiting and went out. Luckily we took our oven fan heater because it was freezing...take your thermals. The kids entertainment was great couldn't fault teh guys they worked hard and my little girl loved. We went to the restaurant and first experience food not cooked, second time we waited for a hr for food, got refund in the end. Luckily there is a Papa Johns on site. The swimming pool is substandard personally, for a holiday park, no slides or fun things to do in it really and it was cold. Our two yr old last 15minutes. Luckily we had car so we could go off and explore, but at one point we were closer to home then the park, I'm glad i only paid £9.50 from the sun as would be very disappointed if had paid more.
