I have recently moved to Australia and had my concerns about ordering and asos delivering internationally, especially for returns, and my concerns were right!
I spent over $800 AUD on shoes and clothes from the website and had it expressed delivered. The delivery and tracking was accurate and on time but when I received the goods, that was a different story.
Firstly I received some wrong items in my order (including doubles of some items I ordered), so I promptly sent them back which cost me $70 AUD. After around 10 days I received an email stating the amount of my return and the things I had returned, one of the items I sent back was missing. When I enquired as to the whereabouts of this I was told I had to prove my postage, (although I'm not sure how this would help as they obviously got my package as they refunded the other things I sent back?!). When I told them I could not find my proof of postage they sent me a blunt email back telling me it is my responsibility and I should have had my items insured when sending, which would have cost me another $100 AUD, even though THEY sent me the WRONG items in the first place. Surely it is their responsibility to send me the correct items I ordered, then I would not be forced to spend more money and send it back!!
I will be closing my account and never shopping here again. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!
