You ask for a rate and their immediate response is "What rates have you been quoted". Staff are clearly trained to negotiate. Whilst I was waiting in the queue the staff continued to negotiate with unsuspecting customers. I could not see any boards in the shop highlighting exchange rates. DON'T EXCHANGE WITH THOMSON!!!

Every exchange bureau negotiates rates just like you would a holiday. It also works in your favour a lot of the time as if it was not done this way we would all have the same rates and it would definately be more expensive.
