Lets get this straight, this is a Haven holiday park near Filey... We wasnt expecting barbados, based on the reviews on here we wasnt even expecting benidorm, but do ya know what, we had a great time.



We booked, last minute, 7 nights in a standard plus caravan for myself, my patner, our 2 kids and our dog. After reading the reviews here we prepared ourselves for the worst, we was going to use the caravan as a base to just visit the surrounding area but ended up spending most of our time there. Kids club in the morning, kids club in the evening were good, nothing spectaclur but the kids liked it, the charachters etc.



The staff were good, had time for each child (and parent). The staff do advertise a lot, trying to get you to buy photos, cds etc but hey my kids know when we say no it means no so i didnt have a problem with that. They also promote things like healthy eating, my kids were loving it, tryin to get there certificates by eatin well, going swimming etc.



The caravan was 100 times better than expected, me and the mrs took so many cleaning products because of reviews on here but it was a waste of money. Had tv, dvd, cd player, hoover, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, 3 bedrooms and sofa bed, all pots and pans, plates knives etc that youd need.



The site was generally tidy, massive area to walk the dog



On site spar, typically expensive but not ridiculous, but morrisons 10 minutes away.

Bar, very reasonable, average pint £3

Nothing too expensive apart from fast food places onsite. But we had takeaway delivered to caravan from offsite

Free kids soft play centre

5 mins away from beach at Filey



Great cheap family holiday, its not the Ritz but do u really expect that much from a haven holiday?

Would defo go again whilst kids are young.
