Excellent set and costume creating a magical background on which Carey once again brings an intricate comic character to life. The comedy is slap stick enough for children , with subtle adult humour.
The Grinch has a number of fantastically crafted characters like Mary-may also.
The Woo-ville Characters could have been used less, focussing more on the Grinch itself.
The Grinch will no doubt be a future classic, getting better each time you watch it whether your looking for an easy watch, a sentimental tale or a roaring comedy. At any age the charm of this film cannot fail to win you over.
