Everyone has there own oppinions and expectations this is mine having just returned from 2 nights camping at the blue dolphin, arrived around teatime,upon check-in, was met by a really rude woman who just shoved documents into my hand and waved me out, was told we were in the over flow as park was full, lots of room in the other tent fields but set up where we were told, within half and hour of setting up a car full of lads with music blasting drove on, fags in one hand, cans in the other. :( we had a wander round the site, fairly clean and well kept outside, but lots of kids seemingly running wild without parents.. you can tell the caravans haven hire out and privately owned ones a mile off! they looked scruffy, dirty and horrible but having said that so did most of the people! checked out the pool the following day, was told it was brand new ect ect free to enter with 'fun work passes', could not swim as seriously over flowing with people, also its nothing like the picture in the park map they give you. site 'shop' (its a bloody spa shop!!) is way over priced, we had a quick trip to morrisons, so is the bar! had one drink and couldnt wait to leave, didnt see any of the shows or anything so cant comment.

i paid £20 for two nights and if id have paid anymore i would have been devastated! its no place for kids, lots of shouting, swearing, drunken chavs!!! we packed up first thing and were off the site by 8.30am

Good points about the site:

clean(ish) shower block and also new

10-15 mins to drive to either filey or scarborough



Bad points:

no temp control in showers, water was blisteringly hot!!

rude,unhelpful staff

very very overpriced

scruffy and dirty in 'entertainment complex'

full of chavs of are beyond disgraceful.



Never ever ever will i go back to haven, this was our first and last time, so glad it was only cheap. also pay no attention to the no noise policy after 11pm, load of rubbish! lads and lasses were doing god knows what well after that!
