Very disappointed with this kettle. Kettles don't seem to last very long these days but having spent quite a lot on this one, I expected it to go longer than just over a year. From the beginning, the lid hasn't opened properly, particularly when the kettle is hot. The filter is rather flimsy and tears very easily. There has been scale around the water level indicator, suggesting that the seals are not effective but now it has started leaking from the base. Would not recommend. Looks nice I suppose.
