I find that having spoken to friends and relatives, that Experian is bad news, it also has the ability to influence banks, building societies, and I believe lead them down the wrong path, ofting resulting in anguish and concern by the person involved. They really shouldnt exist,with that much power, and banks and buildings societies etc should do their own reports on the people they are dealing with. Experian is much too dangerous.

Yes, Experian are dangerous when they cannot be certain of when reports are updated. What they say is, is that the "bank has yet to send us your updated information." That updates take 4-6 weeks. Sorry, is that 4, or 6? They can't say, or rather don't want to commit. It's the one major thing that makes paying for this "service" a waste of money. And then this innaccurate information on your report is sent off to other lenders when you apply for Credit.
