My grandmother and I visited The Dog Inn, Pentrich for the first time today - and I can safely say it won't be the last! We went on a quiet Saturday lunchtime. Once we ordered drinks we were seated at our table. My first impression of the restaurant was 'wow!' The decor is a beautiful, intimate purple and the tables and chairs are laid out nicely.
There is plenty to choose from on the menu and I was spoilt for choice. The food was absolutely delicious and presented as a work of art. There was approximetly a 15-20 minute wait between the starter and the main which was perfect, as it was nice not to feel rushed. As much as we would have liked to sample the desserts, we were already full - maybe next time. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the bill only came to £24. The Dog Inn is a little gem which I highly recommend.
