“I went to drayton manor last Friday, i arrived at the...”

I went to drayton manor last Friday, i arrived at the park at 10.50, after queing for tickets (5 minutes) we entered. We had previously booked the tickets online, and it was £66 for the 3 of us, great value. We entered the park. There was a thunderstorm half way through the day, and all the rides closed for 10 minutes, but they soon re-opened. The Rides will not close for Rain, but rides like the Maelstrom will close in thunder and many others will. There have been many people complaining about the ongoing wapss problem, when i went, it rained for some of the day, so the wasps stayed away. but when the sun comes out, theres quite a few, especially in the que for maelstrom. I wasnt really effected by them, as you soon just ignore them, but if u do have a problem with them, then i would suggest being careful, they most likely won't sting you, theres not many anyway. The food there is typical for theme parks, just junk food, and it is quite expensive, i would suggest taking your own picnic.

G-force - Went on it 3 times, first time qued up for a hour, after that it seemed okay. The ride itself is fantastic, i got front seats and really enjoyed it. It is a short ride tho tbf, so if the que is long, wait till later to go on.

Apocalypse - Fantastic, Loved this. The que is tiny for this ride, i only went on the stantup and floorless, because the sit down ques were longer.I went on it 4 times, its such a good expirience, i would recommened this ride to anyone who loves thrills.

Shockwave - The que wasnt to bad for this ride, its once again a brilliant ride, i managed to get on it twice, and its really good fun. I would recommend you keep your head back, other wise u may bang it against the seats. Overall, a good ride, possibly the best ride there.

Pandemonium - I thought this ride was okay, not my favourate. Makes you feel a little dizzy afterwards, because overall you are upside down basically half of the time your on the ride. The que once again is tiny for this ride, mainly because it holds a lot of people.

Stormforce 10 - What can i say, its absoulutely brilliant. Its a really good family ride, and its full of suprises. The backwards drop is great, i sat at the front of the boat, but i would recommend sitting in the middle 2, if you dont want to get that wet. Overall, fantastic ride.

Maelstrom - Good ride, its all over quite quick tho, but its a really good ride, makes your belly go, i loved it.

Pirate ship - Its not a thrill ride, its a ride for the family. If your a thrill seeker like me, then its not worth queing up for.

I didnt enter Thomas land, but it looked really good for the young children. I also didnt have time to go round the zoo, but once again it did look really good.

Overall, fantastic park, i would compare it to the likes of Blackpool pleasure beach, i really enjoyed my time there, and would recommend it to any one thinking of going within the next few months.

Hope this review helps :)
