Beware of Streetcar - as with many companies when they first arrived it all seemed to work very well - helpful customer service, great cost for car-hire, convenient,... - but things are changing rapidly. Fees have risen drastically, and their support staff now seem incredibly rude, unhelpful, disinterested; and never offer the chance for issues to be directed to anyone else if they are unable to help - you simply get a 'No thanks, Goodbye' from them over and over again, leaving you completely helpless to resolve any problems. They will contact you a week or so after hiring a car to tell of huge incurred damage costs, and simply take the money from your credit card: no chance to dispute or prove otherwise.
I used to think they were great - I now no longer trust them, nor enjoy speaking with them nor giving them any money! I have spoken with friends who have all had similarly bad experiences in the past six month and none of us will be renewing our memberships. Time for a new, better company to be opened in London I feel! Back to a small-company mentality, friendly and helpful staff and genuine savings on car hire......
