I would never recommend selling anything to this lot. I recently took in an almost new Sony PSP console, it had had about four hours use but I could not get on with the fiddly controls so as it was in such good nick I thought I would see what they would offer me. At first things looked good, they said that subject to testing the console they could offer me £60.00. They said the test would take half an hour so I left it with them and went for a coffee. When I went back in to collect my money the oik behind the counter said that it had failed the test and they could not take it. I naturally remonstrated that it had been perfect when I took it in and I checked the serial no to make sure they had given me back my console, which they had. I stormed out and went straight to cash converters, who tested it, found it to be working perfectly and offered me a derisory £45.00 I was honest enough to inform them that CEX had failed it to which the CC guy laughed and told me that CEX are always telling people that when they haven't enough money in the till to pay them for their item. It gets them off the hook. He suggested I go back a few weeks later to CEX first thing on a monday morning before their money runs out and I would probably get a different result. This stinks, I mean what a way to run a business. Aside from this, I find the staff rude, stupid beyond belief, on two occasions when i bought from them (a PS3 game and a dvd)I have got home to find the wrong discs in the boxes, the PS3 game was an XBOX 360 disc and the DVD was the wrong film. Also, they have the music on so loud in the shop you can barely hear the drivel that is coming out of their mouths anyway. AVOID THIS OUTFIT
