Sunday lunch times at the Wheatsheaf are excellent. Great atmosphere in the bar, relaxing seating in the lounge, good cask ales, and a carvery of excellent quality, especially the gravy. When the sun shines the outside tables are a delight to sit at and being next to the golf course the views are spendid.Staff are friendly and the chefs will cater if asked for those little extras that make the meal special.Wine a little expensive but given the place and setting can excuse the cost. For lovers of cask ale try the Timothy Taylor Landlord brillant.
