Service OK. Attractive waitresses, but not much between the ears.
One asked my wife if she would like chips with her, otherwise tasty, fish pie.
Never been offered potatoes with a potatoe dish before.
Very odd.
Better food available in close proximity.
Beer selection limited but covered all the bases.
Anywhere serving a half decent pint of Timmy Taylor can't go far wrong.
Not expensive enough. This needs to be a "destination" pub.
Get the prices up and give people the quality they are paying for.
Nothing flouncy, just great ingredients cooked well.
I, and many of my friends, live close to the SD and we all travel many miles in search of decent food. The SD is in a very affluent area, price is NOT and obstacle. Others will travel far and wide if the SD can get it right.
I hope it will improve with age.

Attractive waitresses, but not much between the ears. This is a very personal comment it the food and drink men are going for not way-up the staff when sat with your wife. Should be brave enough to put your name to it and would you be happy to have is wife spoke about like that.
