DON'T DO IT. We were told we could top up the Post Office Travel Money Card from home but we couldn't. You are charged for taking it out. It is absolutely useless. My son was left high and dry on holiday and no help from the post office. When I finally got through on the helpline they said they would ring him abroad - which they didn't. They said they couldn't check his identity - when they had already checked it at their counters before issuing it!!!!! Now he has 17.50 euros left on it that he cannot withdraw as the minimum is 20 euros and we cannot provide 2 documents that they want with his name and address on as they want mortgage statement, utility bill, council tax bill - all of which are in our names.Not what I was told at the Post Office.
