“Called in for a drink, but decided to eat. Husband had...”

Called in for a drink, but decided to eat. Husband had beef stroganoff-superb. I asked for veggie lasagne. It wasn't on the Sunday menu but the chef offered to make one fresh if I was prepared to wait 25mins. I am glad I did. It was absoltely delicious with fresh salad & the crispiest (triple fried maybe??) handcut chips I have ever eaten. So good that my husband ordered a portion also! With a large glass of chilean sauvignon blanc, sparkling water & a pint for < £10. Service, quality, taste & presentation of food, ambience & value for money-we will definately go again & recommend. This was late on a Sunday pm, they had sold out of Sunday roasts & the chef took time to make a home made lasagne. Very satisfied customers.
