“On arrival we were greeted by freindly staff, on...”

Written on: 05/08/2010

On arrival we were greeted by freindly staff, on entering the chalet we were greeted by an awful smell of mustiness. The bedrooms were cleary designed by some one who had an interest in prison cells and caravan interiors.

Over the years I have never being able to sit on the toilet and turn the bath taps on while at the same time clean my teeth in the basin, and still at the same time lock the toilet door, oh and close the shower curtain. You can sit and stand in the bathroom, but please do not try anything else like moving, otherwise you will most likely seriously injure youself. I was cleaning my teeth when I sneezed, I hit my elbow on a sharp corner near the door, bumped my head on a shelf corner. So please be careful, I have seen better facilities, in Devon there was Dartmoor, in Leeds there was Armley, on the south coast there was Portland, in Manchester there was the Scrubs.

Which leaves the staff.....brilliant, why because they come across as caring, genuine, real, they give the impression they want to help you in a real fashion. This alone made our holiday worthwhile, to the staff THANKYOU to John Fowler, I hope you never find the escape tunnels.
