Outbound Flight from Glasgow to toronto was fine 757, went to the airport for return flight on Sunday the 1st Aug, where we had pre-booked, pre-checked in and pre-paid for seats, only to find the flight had left 2 hours before the did anyone else experience this? Their FAQ's on checking flight times are only suggested on long haul for return flights 1 month apart. Is this legal?

Hi - in my opinion, this doesn't sounds like a matter of legal / illegal, but whether Canadian Affair adhered to their terms and conditions. I recommend you read the Ts and Cs carefully, and pay particular attention to the section relevant to re-confirming flights. Also, check to see if they e-mailed, phoned, or tried to contact you in any way to inform you of the change. I set up a basic consumer affairs website as a result of my dispute with Canadian Affair (and many other companies who failed to provide what they promised) which may be of help to you - www.letsmakechange.co.uk. Good luck.
