Found this little gem of a venue, when looking on the internet whilst planning activities for our short holiday in Cardiff.

I was more than happy with the day out - there were a huge variety of different interactive exhibtions which you could try your hand at, and both myself, my partner and my daughter all really enjoyed trying them out.

Split on 2 levels, the bottom being focussed more on science experiments, and the top level being more towards musical activities, there was so much to do - I would have loved to have headed back for a 2nd day.

We went to watch the space show during the day, within which 2 x members of staff explained all about space suits, explored space, shot a rocket and even made a hovercraft which they zipped about on - it was great fun, and the staff were extremely helpful and chatty, which in this day and age is very unusual.

I would definitely recommend this centre to any one - and would advise that the earlier you get there the better, as it does get busy.

I will of course be going back, when I am next in Cardiff.
