Home Insurance Claim non progress as below.
Telephoned friday 30th july to report damage to a conservatory window, spoke with someone called Sarah who gave a reference number of 900512870 and told that I would be contacted by someone called from the Co-op, no such call came, rang again at 4.30pm to b e told there was no record of any claim b eing made and that the reference number was not one of Saga's numbers.
The policy number was quoted only to be 'shot down' by the reply that this again is not a valid number, despite quoting the name and numbers on a number of occasions , I was told no such policy existed.
I rang again an d spoke with someone else who went through the same speil, but then decided to investigate and in the end decided to do a manual out of hours claim form and told that someone would contact within 24 hours. No such call has been received.
I rang this morning 2nd August only to be told that no such policy is showing up, though she would get in touch with Saga to sort this out, I am still awaiting a response.
I have lost count of the number of phone calls I have made and have got absolutely nowhere.
The only action now available to me seems to contact the local press as your lack of service is abysmal and extremely disappointing, as well as the frustration levels experienced.
I do not have any faith in your insurance system and will certainly make my experience known to as many people as possible.
