Overall Rating
- Value for money

- Handling

- Accuracy

This is a good quality rifle and gives you the capability of multi shot without the fuss of getting the additional pnuematic gear. Very rugged and strong. It is a rather quiet spring rifle.
Bad Points
This rifle is about the heaviest that you can find and once you've put a sight on it, it don't get better.
The magazine is ridiculous.
General Comments
Open sights on the BSA Goldstar air rifle are good although you really should have a telescopic to make use of this tool. It is the most powerful airgun i have had, a ruff test seems to be how far away it can put a pellet through a pellet tin lid. The scope rails are a very good attachment for scopes.
The mag is made from soft black plastic and thin aluminium. If you don't have the magazine all the way into the port and then try to move the cocking lever forward you'll find that you've put a dirty great dent in the magazine and because it's aluminium you can't bend it back to shape. Therefore you inevitably get rubbing as the plastic drum rotates round and mine now doesn't click round any more when you still have four shots left in the mag. The magazine is the same in the superten so beware, but i think that since you don't have the leverage of the long cocking lever on the goldstar, this may be less of a problem. When I bought it, pnuematic rifles were in their infancy but now, if you want a multi shot and are using it enough, you could get (for the £350 quid they cost) a nice little webley radier or something and still have almost enough for the pump.
Accuracy - this is compared to other spring rifles.
Handling - lowered due to weight
Value for money - Think what else you could get now?
