Good Points

Techtronics appear to have the edge on price but that is where it ends.


Bad Points

They have a real difficulty managing their deliveries. Once the order is made, they sit back and let you wait.


General Comments

I ordered a Technics DVD A10 with Multimod. Ten days later I received an old demo model, modified 8 months previously which had had another piece of equipment dropped onto it denting the top panel and buckling the rear panel. They told me to send it back and they would consider whether it should be replaced. No apologies, nothing. 11 days later and after repeated telephone calls, I am still waiting for them to confirm that the replacement unit is being despatched. I originally ordered it over three weeks ago.

The most striking thing is that they all seem to think that they are doing me a service when they promise to call back and confirm what is happening. Then they don't call back. Of course my credit card has been debited. In the meantime I am juxt asked to wait. I have emailed Karl King, the MD, but I am still waiting for him to respond. He probably cares as little or even less than the incompetents that he employs to do his business.
