My band had a very pleasant experience dealing with Scott and Virtual Mix Engineer. We were in the market for good, but affordable mixing for our album and that is exactly what the site delivers! We sent in 6 songs worth of session files and went over everything with Scott (the mix engineer) and each day we received our back sounding 20X better! Any changes were made no problem. The drums sounded amazing, vocals were now in tune (sorry Brian!) and the album as a whole could stand up with any major releases out there. Even if you have a bigger budget, I can't see a reason NOT to use the service, unless you are set on analog gear, as I believe he is all digital. Either way, if we release a full length album soon I plan on using Virtual Mix Engineer again.
