When we arrived we found that we could not park our car close to out caravan and we had to park in a small car park away from the caravan. When we got inside I was dissapointed with the size and cleanliness of our deluxe carvan. When we opened cupboards in the kitchen a foul smell would come out and all of the cutlery, plates and cups were filthy and had a lingering bad smell. I went to use a bowl from the cupboard to prepare food, only to find that there were remains of food and cooking in it.I did not dare use the spoons or forks because I did not want to put them in my mouth because of the germs and dirtiness of them- even after we had washed everything.
In the toilet there was no room to swing a cat and a large person would have not been able to get into the toilet or the shower, the beds were stained and uncomfortable, my 16 year old sister had to sleep in the living room for the duration of our stay.
Everywhere you turn there are screaming children, young people dressed as little slappers in clothes that did not even cover them appropriatly and small children stealing money in the arcade- I know this from personal experience! At Devon Cliffs I saw some of the most unpleasent and rough people I have ever encountered.
In the entertainment complex the toilets are clean and attractive but soon become filthy because of the poor toilet attendants, In the show bars its all about the children while teenagers and adults sit about bored and surrounded by rude children and parents who had no control over them- even in the reasturants. The beach it discusting with repulsive smelling green slime and heavy machinery all over the place, dangerous for small children- we left and went to Sidmouth!
