“Just had a 4 night Sun deal stay at Bude Holiday Park....”

Just had a 4 night Sun deal stay at Bude Holiday Park. No complaints at all. We did upgrade to a newer caravan as I read some poor reviews of the the Rio caravans. However, we did have a nosey at a couple (empty ones) and apart from being dated they seemed ok.

The site is down a bumpy lane but it is walkable into Bude (either over the cliff top or via the lane) and near the large Sainsburys store (a large Morrisons store a drive away). The shop is adequate, bar area good and pools tables and amusements. We enjoyed the air hockey table which at 3 games for £1 thought quite reasonable.

It isn't a big flashy site (which suited us) but we felt it had everything you need for a holiday location. If we could have booked good weather as well it would have been even better but that's England! We had a day at the Eden Project (well worth while) The welcome pack the site provides supplies all the leaflets you need.

My only couple of negative comments would be 1) if the weather is nice (Mmmmm) there aren't any outside tables and chairs to sit around outside the caravan and 2)that there is a notable absence of customer service. Didn't see anyone apart from the refuse collectors (daily) and a young girl at the reception desk. So come on Bude Holiday Park show yourselves and ask us if we had a good stay :-)
