Opened account 6 months ago, made each payment on time, and then one month didn't receive a statement and they slap a penal rate and interest and stop the promotional offer. Not what I expect though I know it's in their T&Cs. Given the debt is only some £3k and good earner, they've lost a customer as I have no layalty to them. So gonna be moving my balance elsewhere. Recommend you set up a DD if you use Virgin so you don't get caught out.

I couldnt agree more with this review. I made my payment to my account on a week day how stupid of me to think that internet banking would be the fastest option to make my monthly payment. I ended up paying a huge interest payment as they took me off my zero% interst rate and hiked it up to 18%. My advice to others who pay by the net is to makeyour payment at least a week before the payment becomes due or you to couldend up being caught out and stung. As for myself I shall definately lookingto transfer my balance elsewhere.
