We have just come back from a weekend in Nottingham. Hotel was really lovely and the cocktail making was fantastic. It is such a shame the good parts were overlooked by the bad. We went out on the Saturday night and turned up at the river boat cruise, our paperwork said a huge boat with 2 dancefloors, inclusive drink and food plus DJ. We went to the boat and they said we were on the boat next door, which to be fair looked more like a shed on water. Their was no upper deck to stand outside and the dancefloor was 2m by 1m. All drinks were charged for and to top it off they ran out of beer and their was not enough food for everyone, plus the vegetarians had nothing prepared for them either. The next day we went to leave and our forms say that parking was on average £8 for the weekend if we stayed in a certain car park, we asked the hotel and they had no idea what we were talking about, the price of the car park was £29. Apparently we were told the wrong car park on the form. All in all you would be better off organising something yourself then using this company, seeing the hen cry is not an experience I would want anyone to go through. Such a poor service.
