Vax U90-MA-R Mach Air Reach Multicyclonic Upright Vacuum Cleaner



We have a German Sheppard and a long haired white cat, hence lots and lots of pet hair. We have gone through 2 vacuums in the past year, they clog with pet hair and the belt breaks or the motor blows.



Recently we purchased a machine that has a special turbo pet hair attachment, so I thought great. But alas it clogged with hair and I had to cut the hair out of it every 5 minutes. I kept thinking that the machine and the turbo pet attachment should not have brushes, as they just clog with hair. I have been getting down on my hands and knees, scrapping the bare hose nozzle across the floor to get all the pet hair, it takes me about 2 hours to do the house, plus it is murder on my back. Then of course an hour later more pet hair on the carpet, sigh. I have considered giving up my precious pets, not really, but hey enough is enough.



I received this machine in the mail yesterday. I immediately put it together, noting the turbo pet attachment, thinking okay here we go again. Wow was I impressed, for such a little, light weight machine it is a power house. I never had to put the turbo pet attachment on at all. I used the vacuum and within 10 minutes my house was clean. No having to clean the brushes.



The cord is extra long, so I can actually take it upstairs without having to change the plug. It is very light weight, and simple to put together and use.



I absolutely love this machine and can't recommend it highly enough. If I had to pick something to complain about it would be that the cord does not retract, but I don't think that is available on uprights anyway.
