OMG!!! Arrived 3rd July 2010 after a 400 mile drive. We have been here before early 2000 and really enjoyed it. But....things have changed....

Lets start with the one stop rip off shop. My partner went to the 'shop' for some bacon only to find an empty shelf. There was a box of bacon at the back of the shelf so he used his loaf and opened the box. Lucky for us, it was a BOGOF! He proceeded to the checkout only to be told by the snidey shopkeeper that these packs of bacon were not BOGOF and 'that is why they were still in the box'. It appears that they were peeling the BOGOF stickers off and selling them as individual ietms for £2.48 a pack!! the cheek! Then...we went swimming. Ut oh...Only the rules have changed from previous years and now my seven year old son is not tall enough to ride the water 'slide' but he was two years ago. The pool was freezing (dont take a baby in there). No secure lockers and no individual changing rooms. Then the night time arrived...We turned up at the Rafters club and decided to eat in the 'restaurant'. It turns out that the take away menu and restaurant menu are identical. Also - is there anything there that DOES NOT come with chips??We spent £80 in one night on drinks for a couple and two kids. Needless to say we went home sober due to the watered down carlsberg. Value for money stinks. The entertainment team played the same CD every night. If i hear macarena anytime in the next 100 years it will be too soon. As for walking on sunshine dont even get me started. Money appears to be lining the pockets of the owners and not being spent on the facilities. Soon there will be no visitors except the rats and occasional spiders.
