Charles Restaurant, Matlock Bath Review

Stopped off in Matlock Bath and wandered along the main road looking for somewhere to eat. We stopped outside 'Charles Restuarant' and were greeted by a very friendly owner who said best value around, best quality fish and local produce. we had cod and chips with peas, 2 soft drinks, 2 alcoholic drinks and all under £21 ,EXCELLENT VALUE. sat for a while taking in the atmosphere and were not rushed to give up our seats or made to feel that we had overstayed our time/welcome. WE will definitely be eating here again, the food was superb and tasty. nice to see that quality is considered more important than profit! 5*
