Malorie Blackman, Noughts & Crosses Review

This book was recommended to me by a few friends.I bought it from Stray's Book Shop in Newark. When i read the blurb of this book i thought it sounded quite interesting. However, when i read the book i had not expected it to be like it was. This is an amazing, well-written book and i would recommend it to anyone over the age of 13. The author, Malorie Blackman, has a style of writing which interests the reader and has you in its grasp from page one. It is so well written and the storyline is excellent. It leaves you wanting more. I found this book almost impossible to put down. I didn't have any disappointments with this book. I am definitely going to continue reading the noughts and crosses trilogy. This book is filled with so many different situations, emotions and feelings. There's love, heartbreak, terror all sorts! It keeps the reader thoroughly entertained. This is an amazing, gripping story that i will never forget and the ending was most satisfying. I would highly recommend this book to teenagers and over. It's an excellent read (make sure you have a box of tissues!). You know when a book is good when you can visualise the characters and the scenes in your head. I saw it as a movie in my head, right until the final page. An epic book. I'm so glad i bought it!
