I bought this bike to learn on. I wanted something cheap to run, but that looked better than a regular 125cc. This was the bike for me! Even my instructor asked if it was a 250cc at first! Most 125s have very skinny tyres, which can make for bad handling, especially in cold weather. The Marauder on the other hand has rather thick tyres for the size of the bike and good ground clearance. Once you get your confidence up this bike will handle brilliantly at speeds and angles you never thought possible! For those people who want a bike to commute into and around cities with, look no further. At low speeds the Marauder remains comfortable and smooth, and pulling away from the lights is always very smooth and easy. The gear box is good although you may have problems with 'false neutrals'. In terms of speed, I have never managed to get it above 75mph. It can hold its own on dual carriage ways, but don't try and overtake if you're doing more than 55mph as 5th gear will not give you enough torque and 4th will hit the limiter at around 60mph. This bike is best for new learners who want a bigger bike experience on something very manageable, or people who want a stylish city commuter.
