Cocoon Barcelona Review

“We are just coming back from our sunny holidays in...”

We are just coming back from our sunny holidays in Barcelona and our experience renting an apartment with Cocoon Barcelona was perfectly fine.



We booked a large apartment for 8 people in the Gracia neighbourhood. This was our first time in Barcelona so we initally wanted to be as close as possible to the Ramblas. But there was no apartment available at that time for our party in that area. And how lucky we were!!!The Ramblas is not recommended for a family trip to Barcelona as during the night, it's THE hotspot for drunk people, thiefs and prostitutes! So we were quite happy to discover the Gracia area which is to be considered as the 'village of Barcelona'. Our apartment (named 'Sunrise' on their website) was the perfect refuge after a long day walk around the city.



Good point: the wonderful terrace. Also, the owner lives in the first floor, which can been very handy for any problem.



Remarks: we would have liked to have a start kit including some drinks in the fridge as we arrived after a long ride from Holland. Just a bottle of water & some beers does not cost much...
