Overcrowded and over priced. Entertainment and fair inclusive in price but mixed in with very expensive extra rides and stalls. Children use free things and still want expensive extra rides etc. Adventure golf, some rides, cinema all extra charges. Food in "premier" restaurant ok, restaurant is a very loose term for "food fest at the monkey house with a creche thrown in for good measure". Food times in eveing ar ebased on school children divver times - 4.30 to 6.30! If you are not in at the beginning of the session then you will wait for ages with queues etc. It gets packed and noisy. -roblems with children crying, screaming, running round and also some poking deserts etc (this however should be a parental control issue but they just don't care!). Premium dining experience is a complete joke and a stressful, annoying and never to be repeated experience. Butlins will not be booked by us again.



Room was a silver room - god only knows what a basic would have been possibly a rotted shed? The furniture was very basic and a little tatty, room smelt damp every timne you left it and went back, heater had to be fixed as it did not work. Bed was rancid - literally - called guest services in and showed them and we had to wait to get the mattress, mattress cover and duvet changed as they were absolutely disgusting. Stained with pee and blood etc. Mattress had not been cleaned ever, nor the mattress cover. Mattress was so badly worn out they had put another duvet on it to make it more "comfortable". Clean sheets had been put on over a stained duvet which had not been washed from previous people, YUK YUK YUK!!!!!



Rooms were smelly and noisy, at night kids crying, running alond balconies, drunks coming back to rooms late very loudly. Never again. Good money paid out for no sleep, stupid mealtimes, overcrowded nightmare. Guest services thought restaurant was ok and just a "little busy" at times. They were not interested in the fact that the brochure and the person on the phone told complete lies about the standard of rooms and the "premium dinign experience" we paid for.
