Having been a customer for many years I had until recently been quite satisfied with Saga products. However, this year they appear to have taken a serious step backwards. Both my home content and buildings cover, together with vehicle insurance have become excessivly uncompetative in cost terms and the quality of cover. Having raised these issues with them, I like other reviewers, have had the pleasure of dealing with their customer services departments both over the telephone and through what seems like endless correspondance, all to no avail. The only time they appear to take notice is when you cancel your payments. In my humble opinion Saga would do well to review and improve inter-departmental communications and reduce the ammount of paper they send out.
