I was a bit dubious after reading the reviews but I can honsetly say its a decent product. I used it to strip a 100+ year old staircase with 6-7 coats of paint and a couple of coats of varnish.



It was definately harder work and quite a bit more expensive than Nitromors but there were non of your usual problems with ventilation in tight spaces or worries with getting it on your skin. Paint stripping is always a messy job and I got it everywhere but it didnt give me any problems and didnt feel like it was burning my skin.



I think the claim that it removes 15 layers is a bit exagerrated but after scoring the paint deeply with a stanley knife, 2 coats of stripper removed the majority of the paint, using a hook and chisel then a thin third coat removed with stainless steel scouring balls finished things off nicely.
