“I have recentyly completed a European Studies (Hons)...”

I have recentyly completed a European Studies (Hons) degree with the OU. I could not have done it any other way with two small children and working part time, but I do want to get on the PGCE course and become an MFL teacher, and unfortunately I have been waiting for a school placement for 9 months. I live in Oxfordshire, so there is a lot of competition from other universities. I don't know whether to give up or keep waiting.
