I bought my black street ka (04 plate) 3 yrs ago and I love it!I was advised to go for the black leather interior with heated seats to get more resale value and its true, it's kept pretty good value.



HOWEVER, I have had lots of problems with it, firstly my card door handles have broken about 4 times now something about the spring going on Ka's, they are renowned for it.

Then the inside door catch broke and I couldnt get out.



Because of this it failed the MOT as both doors needs to be able to be opened from inside in the event of an emergency.

Then the front suspension arms went which busted my steering but this was due to driving over a pit hole in the road in all fairness.



Now my clutch has gone at 55k miles (as expected on all cars I guess), the heating valve so its constantly blowing hot air at me and no air con, no cigarette lighter which means I cant plus in my sat nav, AND also the ABS has gone.

To have two ABS sensors replaced it cost me £300 on top of my clutch £350.

Everytime I brake it feels like I cant and the car judders which scares the hell out of me and even now 3 garages don't know what it is!!!

I feel like I have paid to get all this work done so I don't want to sell it but I may have to.



Oh and the body work gets dented very easily.



They are cheap for a nice looking cars for about town but not appropriate for anything else. You get what you pay for!!! A good looking tin!



There are newer, nicer cars on the road now with cheap TAX so I would go for one of those.

Tax is £129 for 6 months on this.
