I have the A110 with 16GB Solid State drive and 3G SIM card slot. It was purchased for global traveling and has given good service from the UK to New Zealand via Hong Kong etc. I choose the SSD model for light weight and lack of moving parts for when it was inevitably dropped.
Yes it is slow but with the addition of software such as 'flashfire' and the use of a ramdisk the speed becomes comparable to the hard drive versions (after start up!). I have now also increased the memory to 1.5GB.
The 3G wireless is unlocked and has worked with local PAYG SIMS from the above countries to give low cost internet access.
