Cruise itself was very mediocre. Tiny cabins ,open deck Lido area, poor daytime entertainment. Main problem was that I was ill with gastroenteritis and became extremely ill on the final day and was declared not fit to fly for which I had to pay £137. We were then forcefully advised to go to the private medical centre which Thomson had links with and told all local hospitals would be very poor. As I have cancer my insurance did not cover private but the ship rep kept insisting and arranged a taxi. This centre was dreadful and I was charged almost 1000 euros for2IXray and blood test.

Idischarged myself after about 2 hours and went to an excellent state run hospital where I was a patient for 4 days. Thomson rep totally unhelpful
