“This was our first cruise having always holidayed in...”

This was our first cruise having always holidayed in this country. It was advertised as a family cruise and there really was something for everyone, we have an 8 and an 11 year old who went off to Kids club most days and were always well cared for and kept well occupied.

The bug that was doing the rounds did restrict some of the kids activites but it didnt stop them having a good time.

The staff worked their socks off keeping everyone happy, with full plates and drinks replenished. The food was excellent in all the restaurant areas, we ate mostly in Horizon Court where the staff served you the buffet (but only beacuse of the bug). Finding a table could be an issue during busy times, but we simply found a table and left someone there and got our food and swapped over.

We heard many people saying it was the worst cruise they had been on, all I can say is that cruising is a great way to see the world and to do so in luxury, I would recommend it to anyone.

If you have kids then purchase a soda package for $59, this covers all fizzy drinks and juices etc, there was another that was a bit more expensive which included smoothies too.
