“I bought yje Vitamix 5000 after owning a second hand...”

I bought yje Vitamix 5000 after owning a second hand Blendtec. Neither one can turn all nuts or seeds into a flour.

Found "The Bass -O- Matic Incarnate" review highly entertaing. If he's not a book writer, he should be. He's right though. Never beilive the hype. In the end, it's just a blender and you're paying for the marketing. My experience from the internet is that nothing is what it seems. Blog writers will blog about whatever pays the best. Companies often troll forums and Youtube to leave thrilled comments to hype the product. Don't belive anything unless it comes from a trusted source and remember that chiefs and fitness coaches will plug and product that pays the bills.

Bottom line is that I'm sorry I switched from Blendtec and will be switching back soon. If any one wants to buy mine they're free to contact me. Either that or I will be buying a basic, does what it it says on the tin, blender. Amazon reviews seem to be pretty good so I'll head there. Always be aware that reviews that use marketing words to describe the product is most likely not a real person.

Not tried making ice cream and as it heats things up I find this highly unlikely. As for kneading do in a blender, I very much doubt it. Juicing you'll need a nut-bag to strain out the pulp and ice to keep it cool while it blends (not juices).
