I called the credit exchange in March 2009 for their debt consolidation to help me manage my credit card bills. The salesperson assured me that he will to help me and will design a payment plan to get me out of debt in 4 to 5 years. I was happy believing the program will help me handle my credit and ensure my good credit standing. Before consulting with the credit exchange, I was never late with any of my payment and have a good credit standing with all my creditors. He then asked me to pay an initial enrollment fee and in addition to the initial fee, there will be additional monthly service charge for the duration of the program plan. I agree to enroll with their program with the hope that I will be out of debt in 5 years. He referred me to Allegra Law and told me that they will oversee my program plan and I will be paying them. Several months, later collection agencies started calling and letters started coming in requesting for full payment. Furthermore, I just found out that Allegro Law was put under a Receivership. Now, I have to deal with collection agencies. My biggest concern is what will your company do to ensure that this will never happen to anybody and what can you do to help me get out of the predicament to help me get in.
