Booked a 3 night trip to Barcleona in April - due to volcanic disruption could not fly - have been trying to get refund - they say no refund is due because we CANCELLED - what???? We maybe able to try and get some refund from Monarch airlines but have to do it ourselves - as they state that is our responsibility. Very poor communication - very bad customer services - they say refund for the hotel is not allowed as we cancelled our trip - but the company they booked with hotels4u - say full refunds for the volcano disruption have been given and that on the beach have never asked for refund. Total fraudsters - but will get in touch with Abta now and request their abta status os reviewed - also going to get in touch with financial ombudsmen too. They just want to make £400 from us - and look like they will get it too - as no-one wants to help us - including our holiday insurance company Flexicover and our Mastercard company. Thanks.
