I was at the Bristol Cabot Circus venue of Nandos with my fianc e ther other week. Basically, I bit into a spoonful of coleslaw and something metallic crunched into one of my fillings. At first I thought it could be a bit of chicken bone, but it turned out to be a rusty link of chain presumably off of a necklace.
We alerted the management and weren't offered a refund, which I must admit I found surprising. I thought we deserved some gesture to compensate us for an extremely disappointing dining experience.
I will say that I was offered a replacement coleslaw. But I didn't fancy eating anything else that came from what could potentially be a contaminated batch.
The food tasted okay, chips were very average frozen school dinner style fare though. The chicken did have a nice flavour, but I knew it wasn't particularly good quality. Coleslaw was straight out of plastic tub, could have done without the little rusty addition that was present in my serving of course.
