Good Points

Extremely light and small. Only 82g. Large screen. Super menu accessed via unique Jog dial.


Bad Points

A bit fiddly using the jog dial and buttons as it really does need two hands. Can be slow to text as opposed to Nokias due to small buttons.


General Comments

This Sony CMD Z5 mobile phone is very stylish and a nice break away from the tradition shape of nokias and ericssons. I love the fact it is so small and light at 82g. It sits in my pocket and it is easy to forget it's there. You get the reliability of knowing it is manufactured by the guys at SONY. The large screen is excellent and the scrolling 3D menus are great. The jog dial speeds things up. Build quality is excellent and the flip is not flimsy as it is spring loaded and actually very durable. WAP functions on this phone led the way for others to copy and is still the best. I really do ask people to try this phone or the Z7 and break the copycat nokia syndrome. Who buys a phone for ringtones or screen logos really? Who can really afford Blue chip headsets? How many of you really need to connect via infrared to a PC? Try this phone! It's cheaper than Nokia whose prices are high because they know people will copy people and pay their prices.
