I've owned the 0260 (previous version) for 8 years until the fuse broke (and silly me I tried to fix it myself, the spare burnt out- Just highlights the need to use a pro).
The machine is very easy to use, although making the perfect espresso takes an expert hand (or lots of practice, alternatively ask your local Costa's to train you). My son has been able to use the filter side since he's 18 months old (prep only I reassure you), the espresso attachment needs a firmer grip, he's working on it (now 2).
Needless to say, after 8 years, I'm more than happy with the durability of the product. It's extremely easy to clean too, all essential parts are detachable to go in the dishwasher.
I use it plugged in a timer, so I have fresh coffee to wake up with. It could have been the only area of improvement if I was looking for one.
The style is very classic, it fitted really well in my modern kitchen in my previous house and does not look out of place in my traditional one either.
Now it's broken, I've reviewed the combi market and there still isn't anything that matches it for the home (Magimix 11407 is over twice the price), so I'm going for the newer 0261 sans hesitation.
