having seen les miserables in the west end and having read reviews of the tour i was a bit dubious about the changes in staging but it was fantastic. from the changes in the set to the cast who were all amazing, i would watch this production again and again. javert's suicide and the sewer scene were enhanced by the effects. john owen jones lived up to his reputation as the best val jean and having seen earl carpenter as javert i knew how good he was but i was pleasantly surprised by the rest of the cast who were all superb, from eponine who was outstanding to gavroche who was amazing for such a young boy.
