ACE Parking Gatwick. Delay on collection of car and we nearly missed the check-in closing. We waited half an hour at North Terminal having phoned twenty minutes before arrival.Driver not interested or apologetic.

Worse happened on our return. Phoned when baggage was dollected as instructed. Waited half an hour, re phoned to be told car was blocked in and they could not get it out. Told to wait inside terminal building for 20 minutes. After 30 minutes called again and was told still unable to get car out as still blocked in. Car finally arrived an hour after our first contact. No apology given until I asked for one. Both members of staff were rude and patronising. Surely it is not 'rocket science' that if a car is blocked in, you get the keys of the cars and move them.

A severe case of the NFI's (not very interested). If that is there idea of service go elsewhere or use Long Term- it's quicker than ACE

<br/>Ace parking feel this review is very unfair and demonstrates how a few people clearly do not live on the same planet as us normal people. This complaint was made on this review site on the 22/04/2010 from a return made on the 21/04, I am sure most of us are aware from the 16/04 until the 20/04 all UK airports where closed due to a natural disaster(a Volcanic eruption)and as a result has caused massive disruption to the traveling community, its not "rocket science" to realize that all airport companies that operate parking will simple not be able to park cars in an organized time and date order as all the flights had been canceled and as so from the 20/04 22:00 we have had no idea if and when our 600 customers are returning and in what order, we have simple done the best we can in this difficult situation and just to point out to this very unreasonable customer that the lateness in returning his car was a direct result of circumstances out of ace parking control, I hope anyone reading this review will realize just how unreasonable this EX ace parking customer really is and how completely unreasonable this review is considering the wider situation within the UK airports.
