Canadian Affair Review

In decades of travelling all over the world, we have never experienced such rudeness and inconsideration for customers as we have at Canadian Affair. We booked the first leg of our trip in conjunction with connecting flights and train tickets. We booked months in advance in order to ensure that we could coordinate with others in our party and attend special pre-paid events at our destination. All connections were meticulously coordinated with plenty of time allowed between bookings for delays and for travel time to the departure points.



Canadian Affair has ruined our trip and cost us $1000s by changing our flight time making it impossible for us to catch our connecting flight and we will now miss the event that is the entire purpose of this trip. Cdn Affair's customer service rep. was rude and unwilling to put us on an earlier flight with available seats even though it is 3 months away. We are astonished that a tour operator would be totally unwilling to make some concession to customers inconvenienced and out of pocket through such changes. We are scrambling to make arrangements for replacement tickets due to the fact that the ones we booked through Cdn Affair will not get us to our connections in time. This rescheduling has cost us thousands of dollars in lost travel expenses. From the treatment we received via email and phone calls it appears it is the policy of Cdn Affair to leave customers high and dry over any changes less than 12 hours! Obviously, travellers do not customarily allow 12 + hours to make connections as this would mean allowing a minimum of two or three days of hard earned time off just for travelling.
